Indrajith plays the male lead in the film. He dons the role of Anoop Chandran, a famous writer. Prone to seeing future events that turn out to be real, Anoop one days sees his own death in a trance. He decides to write one final novel before death comes visiting.
Besides Indrajith and Mamta, the film also has a huge supporting cast with such names as Sarayu, Dhanya Mary Varghese, Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Devan, Sreeraman, Bijukuttan, Anoop Chandran, Sudheesh, T P Madhavan, Salu Menon and Sreedevi Unni.
M Jayachandran has compose the music, and the lyrics have been written by ONV. The audio tracks of the film have been brought out by Sathyam Audios.
'Karayilekku Oru Kadal Dooram' has been produced by Siddiq Mankara under the banner of ITL Productions.
